Review of the Opera America Recital

"...We are delighted to report that her prodigious talent is not just a "flash in the pan" ..."

"Enjoying" may be considered unduly faint praise. It would be more accurate to say that we were thrilled--perhaps even to the point of being in an altered state of consciousness."

IVAI Scenes Concert review in New York City

"... matching her in versatility was soprano Antonina Chehovska who used her generous instrument and finely tuned dramatic sense to portray a reckless young woman and a wise and experienced aristocrat. Her Tatiana in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin was filled with passion and trepidation; she employed facial and body gesture along with word coloring and dynamic variety to make this long scene seem brief. Later, she distinguished herself with her regal and generous bearing as the Marschallin in Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier."

Meeting and singing for Justice Ginsburg

It was an honor to sing for Justice Ginsburg last night. She loves opera and there is nothing better than to perform for someone who respects and admires the art of the voice and drama. What a sweet and powerful woman! It was a special moment to be in her presence.

Happy New Year everyone!!!

I wish you all a year of blessed days that are filled with love, friendship, joy, health, success and peace!!! Let your days be full of sunshine! I would like you to read and listen to these words as poetry! Let them be a  prophesie of your days ahead or just a simple inspiration, the good is yet to come and that "...one of these mornin's you gonna rise up singin'..."

Summertime and the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin' and the cotton is high
Yo' daddy's rich and yo' mama's good lookin'
So hush little baby, don't you cry
One of these mornin's you gonna rise up singin'
Then you'll spread your wings and you'll take the sky
But 'till that mornin' there is nothin' can harm you
With daddy and mama standin' by

with much love and admiration,
antonina
